More New Work. This one is a two page spread comprised of two images. I'm most proud of this one as it been bouncing around as a mere idea for quite some time making its way to paper and now to final product. It an amazing trek. Selective lighting is a beautiful bitch to bitch.
thanks for sharing this, I really like seeing your sketches. I'm in the process of brainstorming some ideas right now and wasn't sure where to start, I keep feelinlg overwhelmed.
I like that shot too. it's a real edgy composition and works well with the lighting.

I really liked seeing that you brainstormed. I am a student and it helped me to see this. Can you explain what message you were trying to get accross when taking this picture? Thanks! js

I conveyed a cold, sterile, mysterious atmostphere to set this conceptual fashion image against.
I'm a bastard for meticulously planning things. It made my day when the model asked. Are you going to turn these (the overhead floresantlights off). They are always surprised by camera magic and how a little lighting can completely make the the unseen possible in reality. Its great fun.

Nice! I do sketches as well...it's nice to see other peoiple do it as I was beginning to wonder if I was obssessing too much! Great to see the final result looks so much like the original sketch. Good work.

It's nice to have such vivid ideas and be able to translate them. Obviously things change as the mind something ignores the facts and physics of the real world but still. I love it.
