Regarding the portraits... a couple of them seem to have more pj-ish qualities (girl2 and Girl at China), which isn't necessarily good or bad, they just stand out from the rest. I think that the light really works in Girl2, plus the wall hanging with the writing on it empasizes her actions. Really, it's more editorial or documentary than anything else.
You seem to do much better with on-location than studio portraits. The Gothic Girl2 is one of my favorites. The surroundings are perfect for her personality and clothes, and the angle is nice.
Portrait images I would recommend getting rid of or redoing: Twins (lighting is really flat), Male Portrait 1 (subject and background and lighting don't flow well), and The Red Riding Hood. The suicide theme in a couple of your images is interesting... maybe you could try expanding on that.
Still lifes... the lettuce is AWESOME. When I first looked at it I wasn't sure what it was, and for some reason the first thing that came to my mind was bones. Snow White Pipe is nice as well. I'd like to see more still lifes.
I've just been looking into starting to put together my own portfolio. The one piece of advice I've gotten so far that stood out the most is: find your clients. What is your market and what publications are you shooting for? Then see if you can visualize your images in those publications. I've found it really hard to categorize myself and pin down what concepts tie together my photographs - anyone does - but that's where getting constant feedback comes in.
Hope this helps (sorry if it's a lot- I often overwrite).

nah, you can never write too much comment, the more for me the better.
thanks for looking at my site.
so far most ppl do like my still life more than the portraiture, yet i enjoy shooting portraits more (it's more fun). I'll defiantly re-shoot some of the portraits.
and it is difficult to pin point on what you want to do right now, there's just so many choice out there. I guess till you really find a mag u like or a style u really like, keep experimenting,
btw can't find you webpage, could you post it or send it to me, i would like to look @ your work 2.
