I am getting ready to do a photo website, primarily editorial. Which photogs out there in cyberland have the best websites? I'm looking for sites that will let an art buyer get in quick and get out quick. My site will be flash, but only to prevent unauthorized downloads. I do want to keep it simple without flash gimmickry, and to where the art buyer can sequence through the images without any hassle.
Keep in mind that if people can see your image on the screen they can copy it - you just need to press the Print Screen button. If you really don't want anyone copying your images I would watermark them with your logo. You don't need flash to do that.
But short of hiring you own web designer, you're going to have to use something like Livebooks or Qufoto. If you do any multimedia, I recommend Qufoto because they have a soundslides type feature. Cheaper too. Good luck!
