My Profoto Acute ring-light was giving me problems last week, lots of misfires, pack was fine and as the wire had received some abuse in storage particularly where the plastic nut holds it in place I rewired the same swapping the plastic nut with a heavier metal one, thing is that now it is even worst, cables are color coded so that is not the problem, tried various packs too but I notice there's a "Black Spot" in the ring-light's flash tube.
Is this an indication that the flash-tube is dead and if so where can I find a replacement?
