The wife's point and shoot takes sd AND sdhc cards. I've always used regular old sd cards in her camera and had no problem downloading them with a basic, cheap 9-in-1 usb card reader.
well, adorama had a deal on a 4gig sdhc card, so I bought it. It works fine in the camera, but I can't get the card to show up on the Mac.
I'm guessing it's the card reader. It's an old reader, and maybe can't work with sdhc cards?!? has anyone else used sdhc cards before? I just ordered a new card reader for $10 that says it works with sdhc. I'm hoping that will fix the problem.
Man, give me high dollar pro equip and I'm fine... but, give me a $200 point and shoot and I'm all screwed up!
