Bobby Henderson, famed Pastafarian, explains his new photography project, complete with traveling exhibit, by means of what may be the greatest Venn Diagram in the history of the world:

Yes, it's Fine Art Taco Photography.

Whatever you may think of the images (He's no Ruth Bernhard, but I kinda like 'em: http://henderob.com/taco_gallery.php ) you have to admire ingenuity.

So after he lands the Taco Bell account, what does he do next?

Or he could pay homage to Mapplethorpe and create images of "Chilitos". ;-)

Who is Christopher Guest? What is a "Chilito"? Geez, I am getting old and uncool.

I don't even work, you think I would have enough time to stay "hip" - is that the right word? Big Grin

For the record, though, I can think of **much** more interesting Venn diagrams! Most of them have to do with sex, many are illegal, so I won't go on .... Red Face

Christopher Guest had a few movies they were all tongue in cheek, one @ Westmister Dog Show other @ Folk music (Peter, Paul & Mary). I thought they were very good, but not to everyones liking.
Reference to Mapplethorpe & Chilitos...I will let you fill in the blanks, not that there is anything wrong with it. Roll Eyes

Cool. I have "A Mighty Wind" downstairs on VHS. I'll have to watch it some day.

I never remember actors names anyway. Guess they just aren't real "people" to me - just their roles - if that makes sense.

Except Scarlett Johansson from "Lost in Translation." She had my favorite quote ever:

I tried taking pictures, but they were so mediocre. I guess every girl goes through a photography phase. You know, horses... taking pictures of your feet.

Sounded like fine art school from my undergrad. No idea what we were doing. Smiler

And, yes, next time I will use IMDB and the internet. Confused

Hmm, I was just on a photogs web site today and found this quote:

Do it for Satan. You know you're dirty. ~ ROBERT MAPPLETHORPE

Do I hear a new Taco Bell ad in the making? Cool

Or maybe they have already done it. This was one of their previous ad slogans:

Feed the beast

Then there is this opportunity:

Taco Bell has not had many mascots to this date.

Imagine ...

You're talking Christopher Guest without mentioning Spinal Tap?

exactly!!! I was surprised that he listed "A Mighty Wind" and "Best In Show" (both good movies), but didn't mention "Spinal Tap".
