Not bragging, but gee did it feel cool driving onto the freeway and
seeing my image on a billboard.. This one is on the corner of Beach Blvd. (in Huntington Beach) and the 405. I heard there is another one
up by lax. If you happen to see any more please let me know...

Congratulations. A real nice image, goes real well with the campaign. Me like it. Cool
What camera/lens/details....? That would be real nice to know the back story of the image that makes it to the bill board. Anything & everything would be highly educatioal & enlightening. Smiler

It still does feel nice seeing my work on billboards. It never quits being a kick. I remember once that on the way to work (15 miles), I counted four of my images up on billboards (Local advertisers). That was fun.

Congratulations.

Congrats Jack,

Get a shot of it in sunlight too. These look kind of dark and drab.

Like Michael I had 4 up at once in NM on I-25 between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. I just wish I was paid more. I hope you got properly compensated?

Way to go! I'll echo John and say to get a better shot of the billboard with maybe with a hipper ride driving by below the sign. You could use it on your web site.

That's great!!!

On a side note... I have a writer friend that has his face HUGE on a billboard here. It's advertising his columns in the newspaper, and it's just so funny seeing him up on a billboard, like he's a celebrity. I'm sure it would feel a little different seeing YOU rather than your work on that billboard!

Congratulations from me as well. I was wondering which Canon camera it was? In other words, how much do pixels count for this size printing?

Hey, I want to play too. Here's a shot I did around 2003 with a Nikon D100 and it was recently licensed for use as a billboard in Jamaica.

I had a stock image on billboards all over Denver a while ago. It was a grab shot of my son leaning against a tree and reading a book - while he waited for me to finish a lifestyle shoot with models.

I enjoyed seeing it around, but imagine his pride at school.

Ricard,

So that image turned out to be like money in the bank.

Nice shot.

Definitely makes one want to roam in Jamaica! Wink
