| I'm still trying to figure out DOS. I turn my computer on and all I get is a black screen with a ">" character that blinks. If I type "do something" it says it doesn't recognize the command and starts blinking at me again. |

| ha ha reminds me of my 1st computer. A Commador Amiga, but wait for it. This thing was a power beast at just 1/2 a mega bite. Yeah, you had to install the OS floppy each time, you started up. Even funnier is I remember being really jealous of my buddy 'cause he just went out and threw done 2 G's on an impressively powered 2MB beast. ha ha Times have changed indeed! Sean |

| Sean,
Gotcha beat. My first computer was a TI 99/4a with a whopping 16k of RAM and a cassette tape drive (took 2-3 minutes to load a program). The computer I learned BASIC programming on was an Apple IIe, and I now have a working version of that in my office. Ahh, the whirrs and clicks of a 5-1/4" floppy drive.

| OK here is one. I had purchased a Radio Shack TRS-Dos in the mid 80's. It had a 10 meg hard drive, 32k of memory and 8 1/4 floppy.
Oh yea plus $6500 to print statements.
Love my Mac. |
