| Hi Francisco -
Actually for us, maintaining the older material has proven invaluable. A significant portion of our older content involved a lot of dog related work (various performance trials).
We just finished mining some of that for Browntrout (largest calendar company in the world), with the result that they're producing 4 exclusive calendars for 2009. They have been very kind to us for other publication spin-offs. Definitely well worth the effort indeed, financially and otherwise.
Good question, but we do have reasons for our madness. | | | | Posts: 45 | Location: Sammamish | Registered: 15 November 2004 |

The Controlled Vocabulary Yahoo! Group is not just about keywording. From the Controlled Vocabulary discussion group homepage: The Controlled Vocabulary group is for people who wish to engage in discussions related to the use of Controlled Vocabularies, Hierarchies, Thesauri, and Classification schemes used in databases, with a specific interest in image databases. You can access the discussion group directly from the link above. | | | | Posts: 576 | Location: San Francisco | Registered: 18 July 2004 |
