Cuechick,

Your place is so damn cute! You don't get that warm fuzzy feeling walking into a male photographers place. I would be a prime example with my Gorilla Racks (see my earlier post) all over the place.

I keep whatever fits under my bed in long, plastic, under-the-bed storage containers. I think Sterilite makes them, as does Rubbermaid and a number of other companies. I can fit smaller lightstands and umbrellas in them, as well as filters, gels, infrequently used lenses (wrapped in bubble wrap), and other junk. The rest lives in various camera bags by my desk or in my closet.

Everything (except the giant boom and the large Octa) is kept inside hard travel cases which are put in industrial metal shelving. Keeps everything protected, ready to go, organized and free of dust.

re - The extra pep is almost worth the added fuel bill. almost.

-------

my brief stay in houston with occasional visits to dallas helps confirm the need for such pep in cars.
those inner and outer loops are like the autobahn!!

but more importantly, you're dead without a working AC in the car.

and i remember the days when folks could drive around with an open can of beer and drinking age was 18 (or was it under?).
