Doug, Sorry that nobody responded quickly, I know how it feels. I like the overall feel of the site. I am not sure but it seems like you have one too many steps involved in it. Start with a select image of each catagory w/title of catogory under it. When one clicks the catagory then it takes you to the larger image with thumbnail on either left or on the bottom, with appropriate arrows + pause button. I wasn't sure but I do like the texture & color of background. A nice mix of images.
