Hi Aaron,

Nice site, I like the work a lot.

I have 2 comments - I can not read the drop down menus the text is to light it gets lost on the background. Even the type in recent clients is a little hard to read.

Also in the portrait section I am not in love with the second portrait the black and white it just is not up to the quality of the others.

Good Luck
Philip

Thanks Philip,
Yes, I agree with you about the text. I'm having it made a little darker - it is a bit of a hard read right now. Interesting, your thoughts on the black and white portrait of Julie Delpy. I rather like it but will give it some more thought now though.

Many thanks for taking the time to look and to post your thoughts - I really appreciate it.

Cheers!

Aaron.

Its all subjective Aaron if you look at my site every image has been picked as both a favorite and a least favorite.

For me that image is to graphic you loose all of the skin register. But I am sure other people including art buyers will like it. It is not a really bug problem because your work is so consistent one image can not in my opinion kill the whole portfolio.

Thanks Philip,

Yeah, that's a scan off a lith print... It is a different process than all the others so does look very different. Maybe I'll have a go at something else with that one... Hmmm, now you've got me thinking... Cool. This is useful - thanks!

Anyone else...?? Thoughts...? Suggestions...???

Many thanks,

Aaron.

It works well with the rest of the portfolio.

I'm having a new home page designed. Will have examples of images from each portfolio - should be up sometime next week.

In the meantime - anyone else have any comments or suggestions...?

Hi Aaron,
I like your site. If I had a comment it would be that the text on the menus are still a bit light, it could be that there is not enough contrast with the backround. Its a bit of a hard read. I am on a 24in calibrated monitor. I have good dsl and the site loaded rather quickly. I like the b&w of Julie Delpy, it has a timeless feel.
