http://www.simonstanmore.com ... New site, my first in Flash. CMS behind it for easy updating. Interested to hear about UI, image load speed, and design/presentational aspect. Intended to be quick and straight to the point (the images)

Looks good, easy naviagtion, real clean. Images do load a bit slow. Who did it for you?

From how I read the post, he did it himself...

Images loads zip along on all the connections I've tried around London, UK. Seems like overseas speeds are a bit slow - another US viewer mentioned slow loads when we had minimal compression in the CMS on the pic's so we increased it a little. Large horizontals now average 130KB, verticals 75KB.
Layersites (Andy Eaves) did the 'build' and CMS... http://layersites.com .
I did the design is PS and sent him the layered file as a template.
I've done a lot of my own site building with html and worked with whole teams of programmers on corporate sites (my previous life). This is the smootest and fastest Website build I've been involved with. I got pretty much exactly what I wanted quickly and painlessly, so very happy, but will have to watch for feedback about slow loading I think

nice and clean. Does seem a bit slow, but not bothersome.

You probably won't remember exactly how the images transitioned but we've 'fixed' the slight jerkiness that we suspect caused the slow down. Was actaully a processor thing. High spec comp's ran it better than budget or old PC's. Does it seem to run smoother now?
