I have a new site up and am looking for some feed back. I am interested in a point of view that i might get from an art buyer or AD/ creative type. Please keep in mind that the images after the first six in portfolio 1 are all temps. They are 3 time too big on the file size and the wrong color space. They are a little flat and washed out..for now. They tend to load a little slow...i know. They are just for visual placement and order. tell me how you feel about the flow and what would hinder you experience. Also how is the color on the main page and backround coming across? If you have any tech issues please describe them with some details ie; no flash or won't open in a certain browser.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Scott

Hi Scott,

First I'll say that the site loaded fine for me. The background color is nice, not distracting and I love the home page image! I also think you have some very strong work -especially the first few in the first gallery- the girl in the water and the guy in the water. I'm not sure about the flow though. Is it the same little girl- is the first guy standing the same guy in the wheelchair. I think I would take another look at those and maybe group the images that are from the same shoot together more. I also think the site is really heavy on images and I would try to edit them down a bit. The first shots are really strong so when you get to an image that is just a car detail or something less strong it seems like filler. I thought the marines section was really nice too. Good luck!

Thanks Stacy,
First off, i took a look at your site and its great, and that helps me to listen closer to what you have to say. I think it's a good call to change the grouping and bring it a little closer. You should have seen it before it went liveSmiler I feel the same on filler. I was trying to show some stuff as a story but i might move the commercial stuff to a blog where it will be less formal. Try editing the thousand of Marine pics, and with an emotional attachment...ugh, and it's film that hasn't been scanned. P.S. the guy in the wheel chair is a para and that's him on the sit down surfboard with paddle.
